Question about Static Home Page and Redirection

  1. Hey :)

I won't be blogging for the next few months as I will be away volunteering. I activated a static home page (felixrsv.wordpress.com). To understand my question, please visit my blog. At the bottom of that static page, you can see a "or you could proceed to my regular homepage". I want to link that sentence to my regular home page. Is that possible. I hope you understood my question :)

The blog I need help with is felixrsv.wordpress.com.

  2. When you set your static page up, you went to Settings—>Reading—>Front page displays—>and you selected a page to be your static front page.

Publish another page (just leave it blank) called "My Regular Home Page" and return to settings. Select your new page to be your "Posts" page. Save. That will give you a link to the page with all of your posts on it: your regular home page.

If you don't want it to appear in your menu, then use a custom menu with only the pages you want in navigation.

  3. Thank you so much! :)

  4. You are welcome.
