Question About Terms Of Service

    I just have a quick question about Terms Of Service. I have a post on the disaster in Haiti, that is in draft, and I was trying to point out legitimate charities to give to, and I gave 2 specific suggestions, with their links. Please tell me if you will, if that violates Terms Of Service? I don't want to do that, but the reason I wanted to do this is because so many scammers come out of the woodwork when these disasters happen. Sad, but true. If I need to change it I will. I did also give a link to an article that lists some and recommended local Churches.

    The blog I need help with is niecey456.wordpress.com.

    I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, just want to be clear about it. I'm not affiliated with the charities.

    I do not see anything in what you propose to do ie. link to charities in your posts that violates the TOS. However, only Staff can provide a definitive answer to your question.

    There is nothing "commercial" about what you intend to do. I would simply go ahead and create my posts linked to charities providing disaster relief to Haiti.

    Yes, absolutely nothing wrong with that.

    Those who are linking to disaster relief charities, please choose the large reputable ones, and make sure you're linking to their real web site. That's not a ToS rule, just advice - there are scams around.
