Is this website also connected to another website called HawaiiFive0online.net? If so how can I regain access to it? I use to be able to view it and now I can't. It seems that I have to be invited because its now a private site?

Yes, WP.com hosts that website. It is a private site and you're right, you have to be invited to read it by the blog owner. If they haven't invited you, that's it. Staff at WP will not interfere.
