Questions About Tags and Front Page

    I have a quick question that hopefully someone can answer.

    I'm using the ChaoticSoul theme and I was wondering if there is an option to hide the tags from the front/ default page. Recently, I've been going back into my posts and adding a thumbnail image and a little blurb about the post and posting up a "read more" link. Since I started doing this, I've noticed that the tags I've been using for the posts have taken up half the page. It just makes the place look messy. I don't mind having the categories included, but I'm just wondering if I can remove the tags or shorten them to something reasonable, without removing them from the post itself. If there isn't a way, I can just live with it.

    No, there is no such option AND you should never use more than a dozen or so tags per post. Otherwise search engines AND WP.com will consider you a tag spammer and basically throw your blog down a well.

    Seriously, back off on the tags to 10 or 12 maximum total cats and tags. The search engines will take one look and completely ignore all your tags at the very least and not use them, or as raincoaster say, they will toss you down a well. You really, really don't want to anger the g00g.
