I looked for this topic but can't find it. Maybe because it's a stupid question or I'm not searching correctly, but here goes anyway:
I have a post with hundreds of comments and readers asked that I open a second post so that they don't have to scroll through all the comments. So I did yet people KEEP going back to the old post.
If I turn comments off on the old post will the comments that are there disappear? I want to disable future comments but don't want to lose all the ones that are already there. Thanks.
