Quickpress lost my draft?!?

    Using the QuickPress feature on my laptop, I wrote a post, saved as draft, then went to my Dashboard to find it and am terrified to find that it is gone! After looking everywhere for it, I went back to the QuickPress screen, typed TEST in the title and body, saved a draft, got the confirmation "your post draft has been saved, edit post" link, clicked edit post, and received an error message saying "you cannot edit this post." (or something to that extent.) So is QuickPress having issues with the QuickPress feature? Can you help? I REALLY want to retrieve my post... I am using FireFox... is that the issue? eeek!

    For right now, since at least one other person has experienced this, my suggestion is to NOT use quickpress, but use the full editor. When starting a new post in the full editor, type in the title and then click the save button to make sure that the autosave feature is activated before starting to enter your text. I also suggest clicking save about every paragraph or two while writing it just to make sure.

    Anytime that you are working with an online editor, there is the chance that something on the internet is going to mess things up for you. This is why I'll likely never do "cloud" computing.

    I'm having the same problem. I have now had at least four QuickPress posts disappear without giving any error message, nor the opportunity for me to recover what I had typed.

    Is there anyway to get official support for this?

    I am using Safari on MacOS Lion.

    Certainly. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
