Quintus on iPad

  1. Hi
I need help. I'm using the quintus theme on my blog here http://www.meemofficial.wordpress.com and I recently purchased the new iPad. The WordPress app has evident working fine for my so far, but today I opened my page on safari as a reader would, and I was shocked to see that the responsive width is somehow not funtioning well.
I have searched all forums, but I have found no information that's helpful so far.
I desperately need help with this ASAP.
Also I'd like to add that ive looked at the option of swipe theme for the iPad. I'm not fond of the colors available for customizing, it completely ruins my blog's minimalist look. Even in the swipe theme, if I click "standard view" the blog is haphazard and horrible.
Kindly help me out. Pease view my blog on a pc as well as iPad to see for yourself what I mean..

The blog I need help with is meemofficial.wordpress.com.

  6. Hi there,

I am sorry it has taken us so long to respond.
After checking the Quitus demo site on the iPad, I could not recreate any issue concerning the responsiveness of the Theme.

  7. I have a similar problem. My header in Quintus get cut of when one views it on an iPad.

  8. Sorry, forgot to tell you which blog Im having a problem with! It's BautaWitch.se

  9. Hi bautawitch,

Other than in many other themes, the header image in Quintus is not part of the HTML page but rather gets added as a background image to the header. This makes responsive styling incredibly hard and always tied to some drawback: Either the sides of the image get cut off, or the image height does not conform with the element's height.

I would suggest to find a header image that you would feel more comfortable with possibly losing the edges on small screen or maybe finding a theme that better suits what you are looking for. I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you.

  10. Howdy all! Since the original topic is quite old, I'm marking it as resolved/closed. However, if you have further questions, please don't hesitiate to post them in a new topic and we'll be happy to take a look. Cheers!
