Re-re-blogging - why dosn't the reblogg option work?

I wanted to reblogg this post: http://onpurposemagazine.com/2013/03/22/eyoalha-baker-photo-project-on-jumping-for-joy/ to my Jump for Joy! Photo page. I accidentally posted it to another blog, then erased it with plans to reblogg it to the page I intended. Now the reblogg option / button doesn't function. What can I do? Why can I not use the reblogg?

The blog I need help with is jumpforjoyphotoproject.wordpress.com.

  2. Are you attempting to reblog it to a site you previously tried to reblog it to?

Why don't you just manually reblog it, ie write about the issue, give a link to the site, blockquote some of what it says, and go from there?

I have two blogs set up. One I post to everyday the other is more or less dormant, yet when I scroll down from the left had top corner of wordpress it shows the two blogs and occasionally I select the dormant one by accident. This is what happened when I reblogged the post. When I realized that I had reblogged it to the wrong blog, I deleted it and attempted to reblog to where I had intended to in the first place. The reblog option will no longer allow me to use it. Im trying to find out why I am not able to use the reblog button now, and if there is anything I can do to make it work.

Yes, of course I can manually reblog it and did already write about it and make a link. But my question is about why I am not able to use the reblog option and or how I can reblog the post to where wanted to reblog it.

You can't because the software apprehends that your username account already reblogged it once and it will not allow you to reblog it again.

  5. It's basically an anti-spam network measure. Otherwise, WP.com would be flooded with spam blogs reblogging one another to game their Google rank.
