  1. if you click on a category on the top of my post it does not display the full article, you then are prompt to click on
'read rest of post' or something like that. how can i stop that. rita johnston
    Blog url: http://herbsmypassion.wordpress.com/

  2. Change themes.

  3. @herbsmypassion

Your homepage, front page, blog page shows both of your posts completely.

BUT!!! You have made a custom menu to show both of those posts under the categories:
    http://herbsmypassion.wordpress.com/category/depression-insomnia-anxiety-equals-caffeine-pt-1/
    and
    http://herbsmypassion.wordpress.com/category/constipation-my-chosen-herbs/

If you want whole posts to appear then you can use Twenty Ten's excerpt function to make them show (except for embeds like YouTube etc.).

Adding each post to your navigation menu will soon become very confusing. It would be better to use a category widget so folks can find topics you write about more easily:

I see that you are a 2 month user of WordPress.com so perhaps you'd find it useful to work through this tutorial:

  4. A bit more specifically:
If you want whole posts to appear then you can use Twenty Ten's excerpt function to make them show

The Excerpt box is an html editor. So if you want anything other than a simple text summary, you must work your way using html – or temporarily create and format the content in the visual editor of the post, then switch to html, copy the result from there and paste it in the Excerpt box.

You can switch to the html (text) editor and copy your whole post to paste into the excerpt module.

embeds and shortcodes won't show: no videos for example, no galleries, no slideshows…
