Reader won't let me like a post.

  1. My reader sure is acting up lately! First I couldn't find my posts, now I can't like other people's posts! How do I fix this bug, so that I can let other people know I like their stuff. I am trying to click like, it looks like I have clicked like, but when I reload the page.... nada! Please advise. Thanks!

  2. Okay, the problem seems to have corrected itself after an hour or so. I did notice that WP added some new features, perhaps it was simply readjusting a few items before fully being available.

Our office has a private blog (acsncic.wordpress.com). The "Like" button didn't work on a post published in our blog yesterday (http://acsncic.wordpress.com/2012/10/24/bcam-pride/?like=1&_wpnonce=c6fea87347). It is still not working today. Multiple users have tested it, but no "likes" are recorded when the button is clicked. Users are able to "like" other posts published before yesterday, though.

Our office uses Internet Explorer 8. Deleting browsing history or clicking "Compatility View" in IE does not resolve the issue.

In our blog dashboard, under Settings --> Sharing, the "Show buttons on" is selected for all the options ("Front Page, Arhive Pages, and Search Results", "Posts", "Pages", and "Media"). Next to "WordPress.com Likes are", the radio button "On for all posts" is selected.

Thanks for any help that is available!

  4. I have been having the same problem too, it has been happening for the last week, it wont let me like certain blogs and a box pops up asking me to log in (which I already am) when I try to like or comment.

We published a new post today, and users can Like it. However, we still cannot Like the post published on 10/24: http://acsncic.wordpress.com/2012/10/24/bcam-pride/

Can anyone help resolve this? Thank you.
