hello, i'm having several different readers say they can not read my post text. when they click on it, the comments and likes come up, but not the post text itself. this is the specific (most recent) post in question: http://sweetmotherlover.wordpress.com/2012/03/14/how-to-be-irish-and-gay/

i would think it was something on their end, if it wasn't happening to several different people in different places. how can i rectify this?

    thank you!

The blog I need help with is sweetmotherlover.wordpress.com.

  2. I can view this full post and all comments in Firefox 10.0.2 but in IE8 I don't get the post. I get from the Categories downward into the comments.

Duet is a premuim theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.

P.S. Please note that you need for limit to 10 or under the combined total number of actegories and tags you assign to any post. global tags > missing posts Search enginges like Google consider that to be spamdexing or tag spam and that may result in the posts displaying wayyyyy back in the SERPs (searcn engine results pages). Moreover, tags. categories are nor required for SEO purposes. Revisting Keywords and Tags

ah, so if i delete some tags, will that fix the problem in IE? i will also check with duet...

  4. I'm not saying the excessive tags and the non-display of the text in the post in IE8 are related. I don't know if they are or not. I just noticed the spamdexing and wanted to give you a heads up about it. There's a pervasive belief among some bloggers that the more categories and tags used the more likely it is that content will be found. They do not comprehend the algorithm changes Google has made. In fact when it comes to assigning categories and tags to posts the fewer we use and more closely related they are the better it is.

will the duet people be able to tell me that? i have posted there and how do i avoid the 'spamdexing'. i post everyday, but i don't want to get flagged so that people can't see stuff. and my readers are definitely saying that IE8 is the problem. i've deleted some tags, can delete more. willing to do whatever is necessary to fix the problem. thank you for your help!

  6. will the duet people be able to tell me that?

Yes I do believe they will be able to answer that question.

how do i avoid the 'spamdexing'

Assign only a minimum combined number of keyword categories and tags that accurately reflect the post content and never assign unrelated categories or tags. Categories and Tags are for your reader's use on your blog. Unfortunately, there is pervasive misinformation about their presumed need for SEO purposes when that's not true.
