Try to be quick as possible here.
I've purchased the extra storage space from WP. I share many mixes on my site so all the audio files are large because they are one long track - 1 hour + for example.
I haven't tried using the embedded media player, readers just have the choice to double click and get a quicktime player or right click, "save-as" to download.
The quicktime window can be quite slow to pop up, but I figure that just comes with the territory of having large files.
However, I've been getting complaints from some readers (and I've had the problem a time or two myself) where a file seems to download completely, but when you play it you only end up with 10, 20, or 30 mins or so of what should be a one hour track.
Is there something to be done, seeing as I've already paid for this extra storage? Or, should I just give up and go for a 3rd party host that has more "power" behind it than the WP server? This implies that I am assuming the problem is at least in part due to WP's inability to properly handle the file....due to bandwidth, speed or whatever.
The blog I need help with is oursoundtracks.com.
