   I just set up my blog last night. Do I have to pay for hosting? What URL do I give to others so that they can read it?

   The URL I tried is http://www.nameofmysite.wordpress.com

   Is that wrong?

   Your URL would be:

   http://adventuresinshamanism.wordpress.com/

   Hosting is included here with a blog a wordpress.com with certain things being upgrades including extra space and CSS upgrades.

   Do note that Trent doesn't use the 'www' bit like you did. The 'adventuresinshamanism' bit takes the place of the 'www' and using both is incorrect. 30% of the net as well as all major search engine spiders can't or won't use such a link like you had it.

   If I had a nickle for every time I wrote that....
