   The comments left on private posts/pages show up in the recent comments widget, highlighting what the editors/administrators are talking about behind the scenes. I tried logging out and they still appear. Since these post/page titles are supposed to be private, is there any way to make it so that comments on these posts/pages don't appear in the widget? This somewhat defeats the purpose of making the posts/pages private to begin with.

   The blog I need help with is polination.wordpress.com.

   Hmmm, that sounds like a bug to me. I've tagged this for staff attention, but I would also suggest contacting them directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ to make sure they respond.
