   I have two blogs, same theme, same settings, etc.

   One bog shows 5 "Recent Posts," the other (an older blog) shows about 20...why?
   I prefer the grater number.

   Can you shed some light on this?

   Go to appearance > widgets, click on the right end of the recent posts widget and simply set the number to what you desire and click save.
