I can't figure out why the "recent posts" section of my static showcase template is blank. I'm also wondering how I go about customizing this area of the showcase page further, so if you could point me in the direction of other forums that would help me I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Do you mean the recent posts widget? I don't see that widget in your blog.
I think I figured out what was wrong - I just needed to "unsticky" my older posts so they would show up in the body of my showcase template under recent posts. Thanks anyway!
