I created a blogroll and a list of links underneath it. But I tried to change the word "Blogroll" into a category called "Blogs I Like." Somehow I deleted it because it no longer appears in the column alongside my blog. But there's still a links list that's not visible on my blog place. Now I want to recreate the blogroll and associated list. I went into Links/Widgets but don't see the "Blogroll" widget. Can you help?

You can adjust the Blogroll widget from Appearance -> Widgets in your blog's Dashboard. You just need to select the new category's name.

Do you mean I should drag the "Categories" widget into the sidebar?
-
No, just edit the Links widget there and choose your new Links category.

Thanks, that worked.
Can I ask you one more related question? That list of links to blogs I like also contains a number of links that are "Get Polling," "Get Support," "Theme Showcase," and other items that don't belong here. How do I move them somewhere else or hide them?

You can delete those or assign them to a different category from the Links section of your blog's Dashboard.
