   When I try to add a link to text in the editor, clicking add link redirects me to the 'posts' overview page!!!

   What is happening?

   What browser and version are you using? Did you try clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

   Any possibility you are trying to add affiliate marketing links?

   I think the browser you were using is not allowing javascript, make sure to try with Chrome or my fav Mozilla.
