I currently have my domain pointing to a wordpress.com site, but i installed wordpress.org on 000webhost, and i want to point the domain to the 000webhost servers...any way I can do that and keep my domain?

Yes,
you need to change the "A" record of the DNS to point to your new site. I don't know either you can do this with the wordpres.com DNS editing or if you need to transfer your domain.
To map the domain you registered with us to 000webhost, please read these first and find out the name servers assigned for you.

After you have those, follow the instruction below to update your domain.
