Changed my wordpress. com blog address with no problem. Then attempted redirect procedure and was told "You cannot redirect a URL to itself."
How do I redirect from my old blog wordpress.com address to the new?

Went to Site Redirect but it is only showing this option:

Does this mean that my OLD address has been deleted?

Yes, when you made the change, you selected to delete nightclubsecurity.wordpress.com
Per the warnings, deleted blogs cannot be re-used or restored, so you won't be able to add a Site Redirect upgrade for this.
