Reduce size of header

  1. I'm using the "Wedding" premium template. The header area is really quite deep and has too much white space, even though my header is the recommended size. I want to keep my exact header but eliminate all the white space above and below. Can anyone help?

    The blog I need help with is bcarriedaway.com.

  2. Oops! I'm so sorry. I didn't note that thread was already posted in the CSS Forum.

  3. Thanks. I did purchase the custom design but all I see in CSS is the welcome screen. I have no idea where to go from there.

    Here's the text of the welcome screen: /*
    Welcome to Custom CSS!

    CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a kind of code that tells the browser how
    to render a web page. You may delete these comments and get started with
    your customizations.

    By default, your stylesheet will be loaded after the theme stylesheets,
    which means that your rules can take precedence and override the theme CSS
    rules. Just write here what you want to change, you don't need to copy all
    your theme's stylesheet content.

    If you need any further help, ask in the CSS Customization forum.

  4. This upgrade comes with Staff support and volunteers also help. Please be patient while waiting.

  5. I want to keep my exact header but eliminate all the white space above and below. Can anyone help?

    You can eliminate the whitespace by adding this in your CSS Customizer:

    .site-branding {
         padding: 0;
    }

    You can erase the default comments that are there and add the code above, and that should do the trick. Let me know!
