Reducing space between menu and first post in twenty twelve

    Hi there

    Could anyone please tell me how best to reduce the gap between the menu and first post on a blog? I searched the forum and came across this post: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/reducing-space-above-and-below-menus-in-twenty-eleven?replies=6

    But unfortunately this code doesn't seem to have worked in this instance, unless I'm doing something wrong. To reduce the padding I started going into negative em numbers which I guess can't be right!

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    The header has a good bit of what seems like extra height on it, so try adjusting the height under #masthead, but make sure and check the menu and everything to make sure everything works well after your adjustment. It appears like you can go down from 225 to about 175 without any issues. There was also over 1.7em of bottom padding, so the following takes that out.

    #masthead {
height: 175px;
padding-bottom: 0;
}
