Reducing spacing above & below site tite, and above page title

    I am using the Twenty Eleven theme. I would like my page titles to show above the "fold" at the bottom of the screen. I'm using Firefox on a Mac computer, and I can't see the page titles on my website unless I scroll down a bit first. I'm an extreme newbie with CSS, but I did manage to increase the font size of my h2 site description text.

    Anyway, how can I reduce the white space above my h1 site title text by half, and reduce the white space below my h2 site description text by half? Also reduce the space between the menu and page title to just 1/3 of current spacing? I think those combined changes would bring my page titles up high enough to be easily seen on the screen without having to scroll down.

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is squarefootabundance.wordpress.com.

    The site linked to your username, http://squarefootabundance.wordpress.com/ , is private and we volunteers cannot see it. Is that the site you are talking about?

    Oops! Yes, that is the site. I set it private while I'm preparing it, but I just made it open for the duration of this question. Thanks for your assistance!

    Top padding was 3.5em but there is other stuff up there, so setting it to 0 drops the whitespace by about half.

    .singular.page .hentry {
    padding-top: 0;
    }

    For the site description, add this to your custom CSS and adjust with the bottom margin.

    #site-description {
    margin-bottom: 3.65625em;
    }
