REMOVE COMMENTS SECTION FROM PAGES OF TWENTY ELEVEN THEME

  1. HOW CAN I REMOVE THE "LEAVE A REPLY" OR "POST A COMMENT" SECTION FROM THE PAGES OF THE TWENTY ELEVEN THEME? I'VE TRIED ALL OF THE RECOMMENDED FIXES, BUT THE "LEAVE A REPLY" BLOCKS REMAINS ON ALL OF THE PAGES. ALL MY PAGES ARE STATIC EXECPT FOR ONE PAGE - THE BLOG PAGE.

ALSO I CANNOT SEE THE "EDIT" BUTTON AS AN OPTION FOR CUSTOMIZING THE TWENTY ELEVEN THEME.

  2. If you turn off your caps lock key and stop SHOUTING! then maybe one of us Volunteers will answer you.

  3. We cannot assist any blogger who fails to post an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog they need assistance with. Please do that now.

  4. <p style="text-align: center;">THIS IS ALL OF THE HTML CODE VISIBLE ON MY TWENTY ELEVEN HOME PAGE</p>
    <p style="text-align: center;">I DON'T SEE HOW TO REMOVE THE "POST A COMMENT" CODE</p>
    <p style="text-align: center;">Click on image to enlarge.</p>

  6. Sorry, this is the very first time I have ever requested help or posted a blog. I didn't mean to offend you. But you have offended me.
    I will seek help elsewhere.

  7. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Many of the themes like the one you refer to have the same names bu they are coded to run on one software or the other. Until you post an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog you need assistance with no one can answer your question accurately.

  8. I will seek help elsewhere.

    Good luck with that.

If you're asking about a wordpress.com site, your question is fairly easy to answer if you'll respond appropriately. It's outlined in the Support pages:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/comments/

But we don't know if that's what you're asking about since there is no site linked to your ID and you refused to respond with the site URL when asked.

  9. How can i remove the "Leave a reply" or "Post a comment" section from the pages of the Twenty Eleven theme?

    Hi garylux,

You can use bulk edit to change comments to "Do not allow" for those pages with the steps under Bulk Editing Comments:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#bulk-editing-comments
