Remove content from a "Tags" wordpress site

    Hello,

First of all, I apologise in advance for my English, which is not my native language.

I would like to know how to ask WordPress to removal some outdated third party content in a "Tags" wordpress site, eg. http://en.wordpress.com/tag/news/.

I will try to explain what I mean in detail as clearly as possible: a month ago someone published some inadequate content related to myself in an entry of their wordpress blog. This entry was included in a "Tag" compilatory page (as for example http://en.wordpress.com/tag/news/). Currently the blog with this inadequate content has been eliminated due to violation of WordPress terms of use, however the short description of the entry that was published in the "Tag" compilatory page still appears in the returned results of search engines, thus making the inadequate content publicly visible again. I would like to ask WordPress to remove all traces of this content from the "Tag compilatory page, but I don't know how to formally do so.

Many thanks in advance and regards,

    Ana

The blog I need help with is anaperezenbarcelona.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi there Ana,
I'll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond. Please be patient while waiting because there are pages and pages of threads in the backlog waiting for Staff to respond to them.

    Thanks, Timethief

  4. You're welcome. I expect Staff will email you so they can get the URL of the post in the Tags pages you refer to.

Thanks again. The problem is that the post doesn't appear anymore in the Tags page. As the original blog was deleted, I assume the post it's now only cached content. I've tried to access the cached version in the Tags page by using the "Cache" button in the search engine result, but something doesn't work: the cached Tags page only loads the first three or four entries, it apparently keeps trying to load the rest but it never does :-(

  6. If the original post/website no longer exist, the content should not be appearing on WordPress.com Reader topics.

If you can tell me which tags are causing this issue, or can take screenshots to demonstrate the content is still active on our site, I can try to look into this further, but I will need something concrete to search before I can proceed.
