Remove image borders from Twenty Eleven Theme

  1. Hi - I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but I tried searching the forums, and nothing I found worked.

    I'm trying to find a way to have the default for images be with no border and no padding. I've tried the following (just for the borders) and none have worked.

    .entry a img {
    background:none;
    border:none!important;
    }

    div.post img {
    border:none;
    }

    .entry img {
    border:none;
    }

    All of my recent posts don't have borders because I manually changed each individually, which is obviously really time consuming.

    I'm totally new with CSS, so I apologize if this is a really simple thing that I should understand!

    The blog I need help with is carolinetalbotphoto.wordpress.com.

  2. Sorry - site I'm looking for help with is

    The last post that I didn't manually change the border on is:

  3. One problem you have is that some of the images are individually inserted as paragraphs so which means they will have a blank line between images. In these cases, it is not just a margin or padding issue. In other cases, such as the post you reference, you have multiple images inserted into one "paragraph" which means no blank line between the images, but there is margin.

    This will take care of the images where there are multiple images set in a single paragraph, but in cases where the images are set in separate paragraphs (such as the ones below the images of the glass ceiling) those will require editing in the post editor so that they are all in a single paragraph.

    img.alignleft, img.alignright, img.aligncenter {
    margin-bottom: 0;
    }

    p img, .wp-caption {
    margin-top: 0;
    }

    img[class*="align"], img[class*="wp-image-"], #content .gallery .gallery-icon img {
    border: none;
    }
  4. Thanks!

  5. You are welcome.

  6. Got the same question but I don't have a CSS upgrade so my route to joy will be different for now I guess.

    Cmtalbot07 - how did you manually change the borders? When I pop in border="0" to the html it does nothing.
