  1. Hello !

I want to remove from the bottom of my pages :
    1) Leave Comment>>
    2) Comment RSS
    3) Leave a Reply

In this way, I will have more space to write.

How can I do it ?

    Thank you for the help

The blog I need help with is jotabarbosa.wordpress.com.

  2. What do you mean exactly by "more space to write"?

You can always scroll down as you type on your WordPress editor so you never run out of space to write. On your site, your post will appear in its entirety and push the content below it down.

You will always have more space. There's no need to get rid of those items.

  3. Hello,
Thank you for your answer !

    "more space to write" means:
I don´t want the 3 items I mentioned in any of my pages.
When someone visits by blog, I want them to focus on the displayed window.
I do not want the visitors to scroll down the page, otherwise they will lose attention.
In other words it is like a slide.

    Regards, Thank you

    José Barbosa

  4. I would suggest then you use a different theme that pushes the content further up.

You can disable commenting on your posts, but completely removing the three you mention isn't an option on a free theme and, if I may be blunt, your visitors will not loose attention by having them.

I noticed that you're using your pages as categories.

WordPress has the ability to add categories to posts, so you can have many different entries under several categories at a time.

    E.G.
Let's say you're writing a post on a Zen Toolworks CNC.
You can put this post under the "CNC Machine" category.

Or if you're writing about resistors or transistors, you can put it in the "Electronics" category.

Or if you're writing about a Canon DSLR, you can put that under the "Photography" category.

Pages should be reserved for "pages", not categories.

  5. @jotabarbosa:
You can edit each page and disable comments and pings in the Discussion module. If you're not seeing the Discussion module while on the page editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.

Faster method: Go to Pages > All Pages, tick the square at the left of "Title" to select all the pages, select "Edit" from the Bulk Actions pulldown, click Apply, select "Do not Allow" from the Comments pulldown, click Update.

  6. @eksith:
"completely removing the three you mention isn't an option on a free theme".
Sorry but disabling comments does exactly that.

  7. Hello,

    Thank you !

I must read your inputs carefully

    Regards
