I just created a new post and began my post with a picture. For some reason when I click on my post it replaces my header image with the picture from my post. How do I make it stop doing this? The blog I need help with is thecuriouscollegestudent.wordpress.com.
Open the post in the editor and down probably on the lower right side is the "featured image" module. Click the delete featured image button and then update the post.
Is is possible to have a featured image without the featured image becoming your heading?
No.
If you want a special header image for a particular post or page, you can upload a Featured Image from the post and page edit screens! http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/pilcrow/
