Hi, just wondering how I can remove the banner along the bottom of the page that says, "powered by wordpress, twenty twelve theme."

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is everydaydeelights.wordpress.com.

  2. You are posting to the wrong support forum. This one is only for those with free hosted wordpress.com blogs who ghave paid wordpress.com for a custom design upgrade. We cannot help you here at all with that site. You must post to http://wordpress.org/support/
    For clarity read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  3. And if you are asking about the site linked to your name with the 2010 Theme - you can't remove the footer credits - required by the Terms of Service and your site can be suspended if you remove the footer

Really? That's crazy. It's so ugly and I did pay for the upgrade. Anyone know theme that doesn't have that ugly footer?

    Hello there,
It sounds as if you did not read this section before purchasing the upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

May I remove credit links such as ‘Blog at !WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?
All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide the footer credits or the toolbar with CSS after purchasing a Custom Design upgrade.

All themes here have footer credit links that cannot be removed. In addition to those existing links when one CSS edits a blog two additonal footer links are added to them. One for "customized" to advertize the upgrade and one for Typekit Fonts to advertise their use as well.

If you wish to your can request an refund for your custom design upgrade the Store > My Upgrades section of your Dashboard
