Remove search from Twenty Eleven menu

  1. I have a search tab in the widgets of my blog and would like to remove the search from my customized menu. Can't find how to do that. I want the search out of the menu so I can have more room. Thanks.

The blog I need help with is expletiveamosboys.wordpress.com.

  2. Anybody? Any ideas?

  3. The site linked to your name is not a WordPress.com blog and we provide support only to those with WordPress.com blogs here. For help with that site you must post to http://wordpress.org/support/
    Please read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  4. Link to the blog in question please: the site linked to your username isn't a wordpress.com blog.

  5. You can't remove that searchbox without the paid Custom Design upgrade. The only things you can do are
    a) post in the Themes forum and suggest to staff that they should add an option to hide the searchbox (as they've done with MistyLook),
    b) switch to a better theme.

  6. When you choose to hide header text (blog title and tagline) here > Appearance > Header then the searchbox appears in the custom menu bar. To hide via a custom design upgrade and CSS editing see here >
