Remove theme title

  1. Hello, I'm new to wordpress and trying to decide whether to stick with it or switch to iWeb for Mac. One thing I'm noticing, it seems I am unable to delete the "Theme Title" and name of the creator of the theme. It seems that the theme title and name of its creator will only serve to confuse readers.

Can I remove that title and name without having to purchase an upgrade, as I doubt I will rarely use CSS editor myself? I'll be happy to buy additional features if I decide to stick with wordpress, but would like to know if there is a solution to my problem before going further. Thanks for the help.

  2. You are not allowed to remove the credit links if you purchase a custom design upgrade. We are not allowed to remove them - period.

May I remove credit links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?
All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide the footer credits or the toolbar with CSS after purchasing a Custom Design upgrade.
