Remove uploaded header picture

  1. I just started using WordPress, so this might be newbie question.
I messed up and uploaded a picture onto the Vigilance header that I don't want to use any more. Is there a way to remove just that one and not the others? (I'm rotating between random images for my header.)
If not, is there a way to reinitialize the theme to its original settings and start over?

The blog I need help with is ascenicroute.wordpress.com.

  2. It should be in the media library so you should be able to delete it from there.

  3. That did the trick. Thanks for the help :)

  4. You are welcome.

  5. Thanks this helped me too!

  6. Oh my gosh thank you 'sacredpath!' I could not figure this out, you helped me from starting a new blog all togehter! lol Thank you so, so, so much! You rock!

  7. Thanks dude!

  8. Thank you also, I wasn't able to find it either. :)

  9. thanks

  10. Thank you! Amazing this option isn't more "accessible".

  11. Brilliant! - Many thanks, I spent ages wondering how to do this.

  12. I tried that method (in template "2011") and it left a blank hole in my rotation. What did work for me was to take a new replacement image, rename it to the exact name of the image I wanted to replace, load it and crop it in the W-P cropping tool. that worked perfectly.

  13. thanks a lot .cheers

  14. Everyone is welcome, and @lenfarneth, I would not have expected that on 2011, or any other theme. Not sure what would have caused that.
