Removing Comments Box from static web pages

  1. I am trying to use WordPress for a combination website and blog. Currently, a Comments box appears on all my pages. How can I remove the Comments box from all my (intended-to-be) static website pages and instead have the Comments box appear only on my blog page? Btw, I am using the Twenty Eleven theme with no sidebars on the static pages, and one sidebar on the blog page.

The blog I need help with is businessandglobalpoverty.com.

  2. Edit the Page - page down a bit and there will be a box to turn off the comments for that page - don't know if you can turn off comments on Pages and leave them on for Posts.

  3. To auxclass: on Edit Page, I have a checkbox for "show sharing buttons on this post" but no box to turn off Comments.

While on that page, click Screen Options (top right) to activate the Discussion module.

  5. To panaghiotisadam: thank you - that was what I was missing.
