I'm using itheme2 for my blog, which requires a sticky post to have a featured image in order to show up in the posts slider. Is there any way to hide that image from showing up above each post but still have the post appear in the featured posts slider?

The blog I need help with is futbolpulse.com.
Unfortunately, there is not. Images are required for the sticky posts to show up in the Featured Posts area.
