Removing Featured Posts Section

  1. Is there a way to go about eliminating the featured posts section within my theme Skeptical? I don't feel it is necessary and in some case redundant. UnfortunatelY I do not find a place in the menu to "shut" this section off.

    Any help is appreciated.

The blog I need help with is shawnrankins.wordpress.com.

The featured posts section should not show up unless you make a post sticky. This is a bug in the theme, it has been reported, and hopefully the theme team will fix it.

  3. Hopefully, as I did not sticky a post so far - just getting started. It looks silly to have my first post also showing up as a featured post at the bottom of the page. Maybe when I have more content it would be great, but for now it doesn't work. Was it just reported or is it something that has been reported for some time, just awaiting action?

Yes, I know you haven't stickied the post: if you had, it would read "Featured" in place of the date.

The bug was discovered a few days ago - see here:

  5. Great - Thank you! Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
