Removing Summary Text from Homepage Posts (triton lite)

  1. I'd like the homepage to just display a photo and title, no additional text. What code do I use to remove the summary text for each post on the home page? Also, where do I go to put this code in?

    Thanks!!

    The blog I need help with is laneelee.com.

  2. I used a browser inspector to find that the class for the excerpts on the homepage is triton-lite-excerpt - that means you can hide it on the front page by adding this CSS under Appearance > Customize > CSS:

    .home .triton-lite-excerpt {
    	display: none;
    }

  3. Thank you Kathryn! That worked!!! You're the best. Cheers.

  4. Glad that did the trick!

  5. One more question Kathryn... Do you know how to remove the date on posts via code? And do I put it in the same place as the other one?

  6. Do you know how to remove the date on posts via code?

    Which dates are you referring to - the dates that slide out on top of each square on the homepage, or the dates on the individual post pages, like here:

    do I put it in the same place as the other one?

    Yes, all custom CSS goes in the same spot.
