Removing the header "Category archives"

  1. How can I remove the header "Category archives" that appears on top of the page every time I cllick on one of my categories?

    The blog I need help with is kattsblog.wordpress.com.

  2. You cannot edit any dynamic page created by the software (Categories, Tags, Archives).

  3. What on earth are you saying, TT? CSS editing allows you to hide whatever you please.

  4. I apologize. I didn't realize that we could hide the page titles on dynamic pages. Otherwise I would not have said what I did.

  5. And so the answer is...?

  6. This gets rid of that whole peachy colored block and all the category name related text.

    .category .page-title {
    display: none;
    }
  7. Word, SacredPath!

  8. :)

  9. Thank you SOOOO much -finally !!

  10. You are welcome.

  11. Is it possible to remove the "Category archives" header without purchasing the customization module? Here is my blog. http://untilthenextmeal.wordpress.com/

  12. No. What you could do is switch to a different theme: some themes display no heading at all on category pages, and a few themes display the category name only, without the "Category archives" part or other such indication.
