Removing WordPress link in blog footer

  1. I recently upgraded my WordPress bundle, which allowed for greater customization of my blog website. I would like to remove the WordPress link and smiley-face symbol in the footer of my site (reading "Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Customized Nishita by Brajeshwar. :)"

Can someone assist me with this process, or tell me a CSS code that will remove the links?

    Thank you.

The blog I need help with is taylorothomas.com.

  2. It is against the Terms of Service to remove the footer credit. You site could be suspended.

  3. Is there an option to simply remove the smiley face symbol?

    Thank you.

  4. Yes, you're allowed to hide it; just make it the same colour as the background.

  5. Yes, you're allowed to hide it; just make it the same colour as the background.

Just to clarify. Hiding the smiley is okay, but hiding footer credits is not.
