I recently upgraded my WordPress bundle, which allowed for greater customization of my blog website. I would like to remove the WordPress link and smiley-face symbol in the footer of my site (reading "Blog at WordPress.com. Theme: Customized Nishita by Brajeshwar. :)"
Can someone assist me with this process, or tell me a CSS code that will remove the links?

It is against the Terms of Service to remove the footer credit. You site could be suspended.

Yes, you're allowed to hide it; just make it the same colour as the background.

Just to clarify. Hiding the smiley is okay, but hiding footer credits is not.
