I have somehow managed to rename a category on my blog, which still links to all the related posts but has no relationship to the content.
How can I remove or rename this category?

Which category is it?
The Published Work category.
Is that set as your Default category?
No, usually if I forget to categorize posts they go automatically into "Uncategorized".
Raincoaster, I think I sorted it out. Not sure how it happened in the first place, but I appear to have rectified it.
