Renew expired domain

I had the domain http://www.youthfcc.com and it has expired for over a month. I need to renew and reactive the domain. How can I do this? Please help!

The blog I need help with is youthfccramona.wordpress.com.

  2. I assume your site is hosted on WordPress.com.

Did you register your domain through WordPress.com or another registrar? You should be able to go through whoever you used to renew it. If you are having difficulties with this process, or wish to switch your registrar to WordPress, you might contact WordPress Support for more instructions and assistance.

Yes, it was a WordPress domain. I've tried to get in touch with WordPress Suppor but they've yet to get back to me.

  4. Your domain name is in Redemption - you will need help from the staff to renew your domain - this thread has been flagged for staff attention

  5. The domain youthfcc.com expired on March 3 and is currently in redemption. This means that the domain is deactivated, but has not yet been fully released. During this time, you can still renew this domain, but the process is more complicated than a regular renewal.

If you'd like to renew your ownership of this domain, you have several options:

    1) We can renew the domain for you through our registrar. This costs $97, which includes $17 for the domain and an additional cost of $80 for a late renewal. We have no control over this additional cost, as it is levied on us by our domain registrar.

    2) Try to register the domain through a domain back-ordering service, such as Pool (Registering starts at $60 with Pool) http://pool.com/

    3) Wait until the domain is out of redemption and becomes available for registration again. Then, you can register it again for the regular price of $17. This would run the risk of the domain being registered by someone else before you, or the domain not being released for registration at all. The exact redemption period and the release of the domain are at the discretion of our domain registrar and we can't control it.

If you want to have the best chance of getting your domain back, your best bet would be the first option. If you choose this option, please reply to this thread letting us know. We will then send you a request for payment via PayPal and will contact our registrar on your behalf, asking to restore the domain.

Please note that time is of the essence here. Because your domain is very close to being cancelled, it may no longer be possible to recover it. If you pay for renewal and we are unable to recover the domain, you will be fully refunded.

I will have to go with option 1 here. I need that domain name back. So please send me the PayPal request.

    Thanks.

  7. I have sent a request for $97 to the email address on your account. Please let us know as soon as you have sent payment.

    Ok. I've made the payment

  9. I can't locate the payment. Would you please let me know the receipt ID?

  10. Never mind, I found it. The system is a bit slow today.

I have contacted our registrar partner and will let you know when they reply.

  11. http://youthfcc.com/ has been recovered.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

  12. Thanks so very much for your help!!!

  13. You're welcome!

  14. My domain name through wordpress expired on January 24th. I would like to renew this expired domain and make sure the content is carried over onto this renewed domain. Is this possible? Even if I can't retrieve the expired domain, am I able to retrieve the content and have it transferred under a new domain?

  16. @padersjx - it looks like your domain name might have reverted to the wild - try and just register it again - you might luck out and not need to pay extra fees -

You can check here to see if the domain name might have reverted to the wild: http://who.is/

  17. pedersjx, actually your domain appears to have fully expired and no one else claimed it.

You should now be able to re-register it at the normal rate by adding the domain again via Store -> Domains in your blog's Dashboard.

Your blog is still accessible at http://pedersjx.wordpress.com/

  18. Hi I would like to renew my domain name asap. Could you please help. Thanks
