   I set up an account with the username 'idontknowwhybut' but misspelled the matching blog name (slightly embarrassing!). Being somewhat of a newbie to this medium, I changed my username, not realising I could create another, second blog with the originally planned name. Now, when I have tried to create the blog 'idontknowwhybut.wordpress.com', it says that the name is 'reserved'. But surely that's for me? Please could you help me access the blog name?

   Hi Emily,

   We reserve the matching blog address for the username that was created.

   Since the change username tool permanently deletes the previous username, there isn't a way to create the matching blog address.

   However, you can add a custom domain (such as idontknowwhybut.com, if it's available) to any WordPress.com blog in Store -> Domains and set it as your primary domain.
