Reset Forever Theme Settings

  1. Please can someone tell me how to reset everything so that i can start from scratch.

    The blog I need help with is creativebehaviourdesign.com.

  2. 1) please do not repost something five times or use ALL CAPS. Neither will get you an answer faster.

    2) Dashboard->Appearance->Theme Options.

  3. Posting a question multiple times will not get you an answer faster, but it will (in future) get you spammed…

    BTW, posting a question in different forums is not an effective way to get your question noticed. On the main forum page we can see new questions from the following forums:
    Support, Widgets, Questions, Themes, CSS Customization, Ideas, and Translations.

    Off Topic, Showcase, and Staff Questions don't appear directly on the main forums page.

  4. My apologies - I didn't mean to post the same question multiple times... I didn't know where to post my query.

    I have tried to delete all CSS but I haven't added my own CSS just using the wysiwyg.
    All I want to do is restart from scratch.
    Thanks

  5. 2) Dashboard->Appearance->Theme Options.

  6. I have been there but it doesn't give me any other option but I can change the link colour there?

  7. What other things do you want to change? If you don't have the CSS upgrade, you can't really customize much.

  8. I do have the customize CSS upgrade.. but haven't added any of my own coding.
    I want to restart my whole blog with the same theme so it comes up with the slider image etc as it would do if you were just starting a blog.

    Hope i make sense.

  9. How to use the theme is described in Forever theme description notes
    live demo site

    There is no CSS editing required to do these:
    Header text link color can be changed here > Appearance > Header
    Link clor in btext can be changed here > Appearance > Theme Options

  10. I thought I should also mention CSS is theme specific. If you have custom CSS and later change themes, you need to delete whatever CSS you have in the Editor, otherwise, you’ll get undesired results.

    To ‘reset’ a theme, you need to delete the CSS in the Editor, make sure the “add to existing CSS” radio button is checked, then save. Things should go back to normal.

    When you alter a theme’s stylesheet, you only need to put in the Editor the modification/additions to the CSS, not the entire thing. Read this for more info:

  11. Thank you I will give it a bash :)
