Edit a picture in Advanced Settings. On the line where it says "CSS class" delete the words "size-medium" (or whatever it says for thumbnail or large). Type in what size you want—you really only need to put the width. Update.
If you are using the corners to change size remember you'll loose picture quality if you go from small to large. Start big, go smaller is better.
