responsive home page customisation option are not available

  1. I cannot modify the responsive theme as indicated and when I modify in the CSS editor (i.e. removing the widget and extra content), it always goes back to the initial state and shows error in the editor as it loads.

I have the customised version since I really need to modify the home page. The old options that were there before and appear in the training videos are no longer available. How can I get rid of extra content. I do not see a save option in my css edito

The blog I need help with is endeavourdevelopment.wordpress.com.

It sounds like your CSS might have mistakes in it! You could post the CSS you tried here and someone would probably be able to get a better idea of what's going on that way.

(i.e. removing the widget and extra content)

I checked http://endeavourdevelopment.wordpress.com/ just now and I see that you have one widget with the title "Contact info." in the footer area on the home page. Was that the one you were trying to remove? What other content were you trying to remove?

It's possible to change the visibility settings for a widget to control what pages it appears on. Here is a help page about how that works in case you are interested:
