I was working with a child theme of twenty-eleven. When I went to activate it, the site froze up. Unable to move forward or back, I deleted the child theme folder, reinstalled a clean version of twenty-eleven.
I still get a blank page for an index.php and for my dashboard.
I assume the file that assigns the theme is corrupted and is trying to load a theme that is no longer there.
