I need to reactivate a widget that is no longer visible. Can someone please tell me how to do that in simple language that doesn't include all the jargon? I am brand new to WordPress and blogging. I think only an advanced user who doesn't need any assistance could understand the "help" answers.
The blog I need help with is sharplyblunt.wordpress.com.
What widget was it?
same problem: in my case, I need the Archive Widget
Widgets cannot be removed form the dashboard by any user. When you cannot locate them they will be found in the Inactive Widgets box on this page > Appearance > Widgets
It's located below the Available Widgets box.
There are multiples of some widgets so if you cannot find one in the Inactive Widgets box then look in the Available Widgets box, situated above the Inactive Widgets box.
