Is there anyway to isallow members to not be able to right click so they cant copy pictures?

The blog I need help with is conorssuperblog.wordpress.com.

  2. If you use the searchbox as suggested here in the sticky post at the head of the forum http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/7-things-to-know-before-posting-in-wordpresscom-forums?replies=1 you will be able to answer your own question. ;)

The only way to protect your images is to not upload them at all. The themes Monotone and Duotone do have right click disabled, but they each allow you only one image per post at full size; the rest have to be in a gallery. Also disabling right click creates a false sense of security because it's not only annoying but in the end useless. Even if right-click is disabled, one can always drag and drop the image onto their desktop.

Because wordpress.com doesn't allow JavaScript (and to disable right-clicks you need JavaScript) there is a technique just to make it a bit hard for others to "grab" your images, you might find it useful:

If you don't wish to do that then you can watermark your images to deter theft. There are links to and brief reviews of 5 free sites you can use > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2007/10/19/watermark-your-blog-images/

  3. All right click disabling does is provide false security...

Even if Right click disabling was possible here at WP.com people would still be able to steal your images with screen capture software or even by simply dragging the image off the webpage to their desktop screen... So TimeThief is correct if you want to protect the image don't upload it to the net...
