I just installed wordpress on my website http://www.travelingcanadian.com if you go to that site you will get an error HOWEVER if you go to http://www.travelingcanadian.com/index.php it works. This is the same with all folders, I try to login in at http://www.travelingcanadian.com/wp-admin/ nothing http://www.travelingcanadian.com/wp-admin/index.php does work though.
Any suggestions?

Sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that blog is self-hosted and self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported there.
These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.

Cool thanks for that. I tried logging in to .org and my log in details did not work. I was baffled. That link should clear things up.
You will have to sign up for the .ORG forums separately. Your login from you blog is not connected to .ORG.
For the record in case someone searches and finds this post. The problem was index.php was not recognized as an index file on my server (windows based) I had to go to the web options, directory options and add it.
