  1. Why does my RSS 2.0 feed think that I'm posting seven hours later than I really am?

It's the same at my new wordpress.org blog. Seven hours later.

Am I doing something wrong? Or are you?

I'm in the U.S. Pacific time zone.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  2. dashboard > settings > change the time zones there. dunno if that works on feeds though... :P

  3. Okay, I figured out what was wrong.

The RSS 2.0 feed lists blog posts in UTC 0 time. The U.S. Pacific time zone is UTC -7, I think. My blog says that the message was posted at 3:16 pm, but the RSS feed says that it was posted at 10:16 pm.

Google Reader sets the time back to the U.S. Pacific (UTC -7) time zone. So nothing really needs to be fixed.
