RSS concern

    hi!

i inserted a rss widgets on my sidebar. i know that it updates by itself but i'm curious if feeds changes its position [ex. someone has posted a new blog and her/his feed will go to the top of the list immediately being the latest post among all feeds]. if not, is there way to do it? like on blogger, it has a bloglist widget where you put all your feeds and do the thing i said above.

    thanks!

The blog I need help with is apieceofkeyk.wordpress.com.

  2. If you are talking about a self-updating blogroll showing blogs that have recently updated at the top, not on WordPress.COM there isn't.

  3. If you give me a link to your blog, starting with http, I'll give you a workaround.

oh ok... anyway rain, here's my link, http://apieceofkeyk.wordpress.com/

    thanks!

  5. Thanks. I need that because if it's a .com blog it's one answer, if it's .org it's another.

If you can find a feed aggregator and plug all your friends' feeds into it and get one feed out of it, you can do this. I believe Friendfeed offers something like this, as does Feedburner, but I haven't tried either so don't quote me. You should be able to google it.

As well, the old fashioned way is just to use a lot of RSS widgets; you can name them anything you want, so they don't look so ordinary. But they don't change places relative to each other.

  6. Yahoo Pipes works a treat with this. http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=PuMT3B3j3BG4_b4uYEsBXw After you create the single feed, you put it in an RSS widget. (I use it for the "Lifestream" widget on my blog.)
